(M)AUTHOR'S NOTE
I end with this recent realization. Most times, progress isn’t linear—it can actually be a mosaic of everything you’ve poured your heart into along the way.
- In 2017, I blindly launched my 1st Kickstarter with 4 very random children's books and called it my "1st Official Collection."
- In 2019, I launched (and failed) a 2nd Kickstarter around a children's book to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
- In 2022, I launched my 3rd Kickstarter with my first book with an Asian theme called ABC: Adobo, Boba, Chai.
And so, I've just come to realize that my last Kickstarter this past summer (2024) with three new books is actually....a combination of my efforts from all. 3. previous. projects: 1. a collection 2. to celebrate diversity and inclusion 3. with an Asian theme.
And so while I initially thought this new project was 2.5 years in the making, the truth is...it’s taken seven years! Seven years of experimenting, learning, failing, and growing. Much gratitude for your support wherever you joined me in this journey!
